“Happiness is seeing your mother smile.”
(Issued Spring 2018) — How do you look in selfies? Do you love your Facebook smile?
“No gift is more thoughtful or unique, or will bring a new level of happiness and self-confidence, than an improved smile – on Mother’s Day and all the days to follow,” says Dr. Andrew Chase of ARCH Orthodontics. “It’s never too late for the gift of a beautiful smile!”
To celebrate Mother’s Day and provide a unique gift idea, ARCH announced a special offer for moms, including free initial consultation (a $500 value), interest-free financing., and free teeth whitening upon completion of their Orthodontic treatment (a $500 value.) Treatment must start by Father’s Day, June 17, 2018.
Many Orthodontists report a new trend: Moms and their teens getting braces together. The American Association of Orthodontists says there has been a 50 percent increase in adults getting braces over the past decade.
Dr. Chase says, “Many people in their 30s, 40s, 50s or older have an outdated idea of what Orthodontics is and aren’t aware of the latest tools and techniques. They recall metal braces but today they’re made from less conspicuous, more comfortable materials. Many celebrities choose Invisalign braces because they’re almost invisible, even in close-ups.” Invisalign eliminate the traditional wire and bracket system, substituting a series of custom-made clear plastic aligner trays to gradually straighten the teeth.
Today, with longer life expectancies and a greater awareness, everyone has a better chance of keeping teeth for their entire lifetime. Dr. Chase explains that among the most important steps for healthy teeth and overall health is plaque removal. Plaque helps bacteria stick to teeth which can lead to decay and gum disease/gingivitis. Research shows a possible connection between plaque and heart disease, dementia, and overall health issues. This is where Orthodontic treatment becomes important: Dr. Chase says, “Improved alignment and spacing makes plaque removal easier and more complete. And of course, it makes you more self-confident and photogenic!”
To complement services available to young patients, ARCH has added its first Pediatric Dentist at its Stoughton office, and for a limited time, is offering a Spring $99 New Dental Patient Special that includes Exam, X-rays, Fluoride and Cleaning — a savings of $250 (for patients with no insurance.)
