Practice introduces a simpler way to prepare for braces, reduce braces time.
(Issued Summer 2017) – A local Orthodontic office has introduced state-of-the-art technologies that are simpler, more comfortable, can reduce time in braces – and are often less expensive.

One of ARCH’s newest technologies is the Carriere Motion™ appliance connected to 2 or 4 teeth, that corrects bites formerly altered by headgears and other methods. For some, this may eliminate the need for extracting teeth and/or surgically-assisted Orthodontic treatment. Dr. Chase says, “This can reduce braces time, is used for 3-4 months and corrects the harder portion of treatment first. Following the Carriere, we use another new technology, the SLX bracket system, to facilitate quicker, more efficient treatments and better outcomes. Brackets ensure effective case management, optimal tooth positioning, and meticulous finishes.”
Another ARCH technology is AcceleDent Now® that uses micropulses to complement conventional treatment, speeding treatment time, and reducing discomfort with only 20 minutes of use per day. It is compatible with nearly all treatment options. While the Orthodontist works to move teeth in specific directions, AcceleDent vibrations accelerate the boney changes which occur surrounding teeth to speed movement. Braces time may be 50% shorter. “Patients planning weddings successfully started just 6 – 8 months before their big day,” smiles Dr. Chase.
