We hope you and your family have been well. During this novel time, we want you to know that we are still here for YOU, 100%!
ARCH Orthodontics is doing our part to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 by remaining closed until May 4th. This decision is aligned with the recommendations of the Mass Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontics and Governor Baker. What does that mean for all of you with a scheduled appointment between April 7th-May 2nd? We will be reaching out to each of you beginning Monday morning, April 6th, to reschedule. For many, we will schedule a Telehealth visit and still “see” you via video conference that will securely occur using your smartphone or any computer. Using this amazing new technology, we can evaluate your individual case and create a plan for what is needed and the best timing for your next in-office visit! ARCH is doing all we can for you and your smile in the safest most effective means possible.
If you’d like to use your phone for video dentistry, please download the Teledentix app in either the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
What if you have a question or an orthodontic emergency? Give us a call right away so we can assess the situation! Most issues can be easily resolved with a phone call or Telehealth visit. If however, your concern cannot be managed effectively with remote care, we will of course make arrangements to be seen in one of our orthodontic offices. As you can imagine, many guidelines have been set forth during this uncertain time, one of which addresses broken and lost retainers. The American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), does not consider either to be an orthodontic emergency.
While we understand the importance of retainer use to ensure your orthodontic success and stability, we are fully committed to keeping all of our patients and staff safe during this time. What this means: We will not be seeing patients in the office to fix a broken retainer during our closure, but we absolutely want to “see” you with a Telehealth visit. We will assess the situation, make a recommendation and resolve any changes which occur during this time, with no “out-of-pocket” expense to you, once we return to the office.
We want to remind you all that we are here for you, we love you, and we’ll all get through this together! We’re looking forward to connecting with as many as possible via video dentistry, and can’t wait to actually see your smiling faces in our offices once again!
Please be well and follow us on social media to get instant updates regarding our practice!
Wishing you well,
Dr. Chase, Dr. Chavez & ARCH Orthodontics’ Entire Team
