My Life. My Smile. My Orthodontist
Our friends at the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) have designated this month as a perfect time to raise awareness about how important it is to have a straight smile so you can be healthy now, and for years to come.
The AAO works with your ARCH orthodontist and your family dentist to help everyone across the country see the amazing, positive impact that orthodontic care has on your oral health, your overall health, and your confidence.
What Does October Mean To You?
All around our nine Greater Boston locations, Fall is in full swing. That means extra layers of clothes, pumpkin spice everything, and that the holidays are just around the corner. Maybe you’re already wearing braces and October is the month they finally get to come off. Or maybe you’re considering calling ARCH to start your child’s orthodontic journey.
Whatever you have on your agenda this month, we invite you to take a moment to think about the state of your oral health and your family’s oral health. If you have questions about all of the techniques and technology our ARCH orthodontists have at their disposal to make your mouth healthy, just give your local office a call. We’re happy to answer any questions you may have and schedule you for a consultation to assess and address your needs.
Here’s What October Means to ARCH Orthodontics
Our entire talented team is going to make sure we stress the importance of what it means to have a smile that’s straight and healthy. This means dedicating the right amount of time and attention to oral hygiene. Take a look at your toothbrush. Is it time for a new one or an upgrade to a different style? Is your family up-to-date with their teeth cleanings or orthodontic adjustments?
Remember how important it is to keep your teeth clean if you’re wearing braces. Food particles and plaque love to build up and become trapped in wires and brackets. Keeping braces clean with regular brushing and flossing will ensure your smile will be healthy and beautiful when it’s time for your braces to be removed. Also, if in the retainer phase of orthodontic treatment, make sure you wear it! It’s going to help keep your smile straight after we remove your braces. You and your smile are worth it!
No matter what month it is, we want you to know how much all of our ARCH orthodontists enjoy getting to know you and your family. We truly care about every smile we have the pleasure of helping to become healthy and straight. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call for help with all your oral health questions!
