(Issued Winter 2020) — Noted social scientist Malcolm Gladwell, speaking on the importance of attractive teeth, said, “Increasingly, people are judged by their teeth, and having a great smile could increase earning power.”
He was referring to a survey that showed people with healthier-looking teeth were thought to be a lot more successful, looked five years younger, and it improved their employment potential.
Dr. Andrew Chase of ARCH Orthodontics agrees: “Even if you’re not looking for a new job or a raise, a beautiful smile can make you feel more confident and comfortable with yourself, and you’ll give an air of competence.
