(Issued Summer 2019) — Award-winning dental researcher and Orthodontist Dr. Michael Arrigo has joined the clinical team at ARCH Orthodontics which operates nine offices between Boston and Cape Cod. Dr. Arrigo is seeing patients at the Canton and Stoughton offices.
The announcement was made by ARCH’s Dr. Andrew Chase who said, “We are excited to welcome Dr. Arrigo whose interest in the latest techniques and treatments, along with his patient-friendly demeanor, make him a valuable addition to our team.”
Dr. Arrigo said, “I was attracted by ARCH’s excellent reputation and long history of being at the forefront when it comes to introducing the latest tools for patients of all ages, from 6 to 86.”
A cum laude graduate of the University of Miami with Honors in the Integrated Math and Science Program, Dr. Arrigo earned his DMD degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude and fourth in his class. He also earned his Certificate in Orthodontics at Tufts. He was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received the Honos Civicus award recognizing his exceptional commitment to civic engagement and leadership. He also earned a Tufts Merit Scholarship and the Dr. James Hanley Basic Science Award given to the dental student with the highest basic science GPA.
In the world of leading-edge Orthodontic industry research, Dr. Arrigo evaluated the accuracy of different 3D printers used in Orthodontic offices and labs and studied stress management strategies for dental students.
