Perfecting Patient Smiles at Bridgewater Office
(Issued Fall 2019) — Dr. David Cabeceiras, a graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he completed his postgraduate training in Orthodontics, and a long-time member of the school’s Orthodontic faculty, has joined ARCH Orthodontics, welcoming patients in their Bridgewater (Mass.) office.
The announcement was made by Dr. Andrew Chase, ARCH principal and past President of the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists. A 45-year-old practice, ARCH has nine offices from Boston to Cape Cod.
Dr. Chase says, “Dr. Cabeceiras has a long track record of exceptionalism that fits nicely with our team who approach our lives both professionally and personally with ARCH’s philosophy, the acronym SPIRE: Support, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.”
On accepting the position, Dr. Cabeceiras said, “ARCH offers a great opportunity to continue a high level of care in a patient-centered environment with the most up-to-date technology including digital radiology and CBCT scans. A group practice allows doctors to share ideas to solve complex problems which raises the standard of care for patients. These attributes combined with great assistants and staff are the reasons why I decided to join the practice.”
It was in dental school that Dr. Cabeceiras decided to specialize in the treatment of children: “Orthodontics has such a great impact on a child’s dental growth and development. No two cases are alike so the challenge of diagnosis and individualizing treatment plans is what most appeals to me. One patient anecdote stands out. In 2006, Dr Cabeceiras read an article concerning a former patient who was selected as Miss Massachusetts. “I contacted her and she visited the office. It was a treat to see her all grown up and on her way as we all shared in her accomplishment. She sent me a signed photo thanking me for her smile that hangs in the waiting room for patients to admire.”
A Fall River, Mass., native, Dr. Cabeceiras earned his B. S. degree with honors in Biology from Providence College. A member of the American Board of Orthodontics, he maintained a private practice for nearly 30 years focusing on pediatric patients and Orthodontics. He is an active member of the Fall River Chapter of the Prince Henry Society which promotes the cultural, economic, and educational betterment of persons of Portuguese decent. He is a lifelong Bruins fan and an ice hockey instructor at the Bruins Fundamentals program at the Taunton Ice Rink.
ARCH offers free initial consultation and interest-free financing. Courtesy discounts are offered to anyone serving in the military and their families and veterans, and to municipal employees and their families in towns served by the practice.
Dr. Chase, warning against potentially harmful Do-It-Yourself or Direct-To-Customer Orthodontic programs, strongly urges people of any age who wish to safely and professionally improve their smile, bite and self- confidence to make an appointment at any of ARCH’s convenient offices: email@example.com / 781-209-6776.
