Winners have been announced in the ARCH Orthodontics National Orthodontic Health Month ‘Running into October’ Contest.
One winner is ARCH patient, Rhode Islander 14 year-old Ben Gutowski whose dream is to be either a professional soccer or football player – or to be a lawyer. In either case, having a great smile will be a big plus for Ben. (He sent this playfully edited photo showing off his new sneakers.)
He says, “I went to the Orthodontist at the recommendation of my dentist to help straighten my teeth. I go to ARCH’s Westwood office and see Dr. Andrew Chase. He and I discuss our plan at every visit so I know what he’s done and what’s left to complete. I follow his instructions to get the best experience. I’m very pleased with the outcome so far. I’m very grateful to win the contest. Everyone at the Westwood office is fantastic!
The second winner is 28 year-old Alexandra Delorenze of Eastham, Mass. ( photo). The company she cofounded, Bright Steps Behavior Innovations, provides in-home services and therapies for children and adults on the autism spectrum.
Alex was engaged to Charles Agro, an ocean engineer, but the COVID pandemic changed their plans. “When our wedding scheduled for June, 2020, was postponed until June 2021, I decided to straighten my teeth. My teeth were very crowded. I am receiving Invisalign (invisible braces) treatment. My Orthodontists at ARCH’s Orleans office on Cape Cod are Dr. Andrew Chase and Dr. Hamad Burashed. They are both great!”
She adds, “The entire treatment team has been incredible. So flexible with COVID and so careful, and they’re so excited for Charlie and me and the wedding Everyone treats you like the most important patient. With my newly straightened teeth and staying in shape with my new running shoes, I can reach the goals of looking my best at the wedding. COVID hit our company hard so you brought me so much joy during a hard time! Thank you all so much.”
To enter the contest, patients were asked to ‘like’ the ARCH Facebook page, follow @archorthodontics, and tag a friend. Prizes were a choice of stylish Nike or Adidas sneakers and a teeth-whitening kit.
ARCH is offering a ‘Wedding Smile Makeover Package’ that includes free initial consultation a year before the wedding; high-tech AcceleDent treatment at 30% off; and free teeth whitening for both the bride and groom (3 weeks before the wedding day) – even if only one of them gets Ortho treatment. For the special package, treatment must start by Nov. 30, 2020.
